Calf and Fish Fry

John and Mary Thomas held a Calf and Fish fry at their home last night and we were lucky to be invited. The calf parts came from the steers that John had worked and the fish came from some that he and his sons had caught on the Cumberland River in Tennesee.

Here John is taking some of the finished product out of the deep fat fryer.

Here they are setting up the area for the cooking. The gang standing around are the quality control people who snatch samples of the finished product and check them out.





Everyone had plenty of eats! Here Barbara is sitting with Mary Thomas (on the right.) Many of the ladies brought even more food to share. Quite a bounty!
